Don't worry, brother: all problems are the same size to God:small! The same faith that will cure a headache will cure a tumor. So no need for fear. Just keep trusting in Jesus in all things. All of us face a little fear every now and then; the key, however, is to recover from it and hold on to what the Word of God says: "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind" (2Tim.1:7). So encourage yourself in the Lord at times like these. Know that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. He is closer to you now than when things are going well. You just have to remember that, or the devil will steal your peace; for Satan's real power is mostly in deception- getting us to believe his word over God's word. So just continue to hold on to God's word in your heart. His word says that you are already healed! "Whatsoever you desire, when you pray, believe you have received it and you shall have it" (Mk.11:24). So healing is already yours, brother!

Ok, let's pray: Father, we lift up our brother to you. We pray that you bless him through this surgery. Guide the hands of the doctor doing the operation; you take over this surgery, for you are the only true doctor in the world. You are the one who heals us of all our diseases, just as your word says. So bless our brother with peace in this situation; let the Word of God already placed in his heart comfort him in this time. And we pray that no weapon formed against him shall prosper in any way.
